The Freedom of Information Act 2000 (c.36) is an Act of Parliament that creates a public "right of access" to information held by public authorities. The full provisions of the Act came into force on 1 January 2005. We have exercised our rights under the Act and submitted the following Freedom of Information Act 2000 requests to Enfield Council:

  Hostels & Rehab Centres:

(1) How many half-way houses for ex-offenders are located within the London Borough of Enfield?


(2) How many rehabilitation centres or houses for substance abuse victims or drug addicts are located within the London Borough of     Enfield?


(3)  How many hostels or homes for teenagers in care are located in the London Borough of Enfield?


(4)  How many hostels or homes for teenagers subject to 'Supervision Orders' or ASBOs are located in the London Borough of        Enfield?


(5)  How many homes or hostels for young people recently released from young offenders institutions are located in the London  Borough of Enfield?


(6) What is the total population of people identified in questions (1) to (5) above?

4. What is the total number of complaints that have been made about betting shops, nightclubs/pubs and fast food outlets to Enfield Council by residents or members of the public in the last ten years?
